Our client is seeking an experienced Quality Control Inspector!

The quality control Inspector will be responsible for ensuring company compliance with established SOP’S for receiving manufacturing bottling and labeling process.  You will help provide day to day oversight of the plant quality control team.

• Position is in town (Reno) – FT – Mon – Fri 6:30am – 3:30pm
• Pay $25-$27+

What the Quality control inspector will do:

• ATP testing and verification of cleaning
• Complete daily environmental and equipment monitoring activities as needed
• Private labeling order review and release
• Batch record review and release including review of MMR’s ROMS’s Deviations etc.
• Approve or reject label and material disposition request
• Component and label inspections
• Process customer returns
• Follow safety procedures environmental monitoring
• Document control and label control processes
• Investigations, roots cause analysis, internal audits
• Take part in cross functional team projects and training as needed
• Help identify process improvements, SOP’S, as needed and implement changes including training.
• Other duties as assigned

What the Quality control inspector will need to have:

• High school diploma or GED
• Continuing education beyond high school/GED a PLUS
• 2-4 years of work experience in a warehouse/ manufacturing environment (including 2 years in quality control or quality assurance position)
• 1 year Experience in FDA regulated industry
• Supervisory skills a plus!
• Strong written and communication skills
• Basic math skills
• Team oriented with strong interpersonal skills
• Strong attention to detail
• intermediate Microsoft office (Word & excel)
